Studio Channel Islands Art Center brings artists and the community together through exhibitions, education and creative experiences in Old Town Camarillo. The nonprofit arts center features two galleries, approximately 40 working artist studios and an outdoor exhibition and event space. Children ages 6–14 can explore drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, fiber arts, beading, mixed media and other techniques through after-school classes and seasonal art camps taught by professional artists. Families can also visit the galleries, meet working artists during monthly Open Studios and enjoy free, hands-on Family Art Activities on the first Saturday of each month. Adult classes, concerts, artist talks, films and other cultural events are offered throughout the year.
