Luckily, families in Ventura County don’t have to travel far to find picture-perfect farms, corn mazes, hayrides, and fields filled with pumpkins of every size. From Camarillo to Ventura to Oxnard—and even a few nearby spots worth the drive—these local farms are ready to welcome you for weeks of autumn fun.
Whether you’re searching for the perfect carving pumpkin, snapping family photos among the vines, or getting lost in a corn maze, our guide will help you plan the perfect seasonal outing. Many farms also offer extras like hayrides, petting zoos, and fall festivals, making them a must-visit destination for both kids and kids at heart.

- Big working farm with 10 acres of pumpkin picking, hayrides, corn maze, hay pyramid, petting zoo and more
- Themed weekends like Hero’s of the Farm, Wild West at the Farm, Fiesta at the Farm, Harvest at the Farm, and Animals of the Farm. The weekend event features food trucks, movie nights, a petting zoo, a pumpkin patch, a costume contest, animal education, and much more!

- Underwood Family Farms Fall Festival in Moorpark
- Address: 3370 Sunset Valley Road, Moorpark
- Details:
- Weekday admission is $14 at the gate only. Weekend admission varies from $22 to $28 per person purchased online. Children 2 and under and parking are free.
- By far the largest pumpkin patch in the area, Underwood's Fall Festival is a whole-day adventure. There is a huge pumpkin patch, tractor-drawn wagon rides, corn maze, giant tractor display, hay pyramids, animal center, and many other family-friendly activities. Themed weekend events include animal shows, pig races, live performers, roaming entertainment and more. There are also more ticketed activities like corn cannons, games, rides, etc.

- A much smaller pumpkin patch than it's sister location in Moorpark, this farm still has plenty of pumpkins, photo opportunities, goats, and a great selection of produce
