Each school year moms and families search for fun programs for their children to enjoy! Camarillo - Ventura - Oxnard Macaroni KID aims to provide a diverse listing of many of the available programs in our area for families and their children!

Camarillo 

1. Camarillo Pony Baseball 

Fall Ball is an instructional league that runs September through November. Fall Season is a relaxed baseball environment that provides players an opportunity to improve their skills, stay baseball-ready, and/or just have fun.
Games are played once a week (Sunday afternoon).  Most volunteer coaches hold one optional practice during the week.
Games are focused on teaching, learning and having fun.  

Cost is $150 for Quarterhorse(4-5 yr old),  Shetland (6yr old) and $175 for Pinto (7-8yrs), $175 for Mustang (9-10yrs), Bronco (11-12yrs), Pony (13-15yrs). Registration cost includes dry-fit jersey and hat. Your player should bring a glove, bat, and helmet to practice and games.

Ages: 4 - 16 - To help minimize any confusion, the player will be in the division at age player will be on birthday falling in between May 1 and April 30.  These age limits are set by PONY.

Sign Up: Open now- Due to overwhelming response to play Fall Ball, some divisions registration may close sooner than others.

Dates: Opening day is Sunday, September 22nd.  Last game is November 24th.

2. Region 68 AYSO - Soccer 

Schoolyard, Non-competitive, Competitive & EPIC. Boys and Girls Birth Years 2007-2021. Games on Saturdays at Pleasant Valley Fields in Camarillo

Ages: 5-18

3. Eagles Soccer Fall League

Season Details:

• Open to Players Ages 5-12
• Season Dates: August 25 - October 24
• Practice Starts: August 25 at Valle Lindo Park, Camarillo
• Practice Times: Mondays & Wednesdays, 5:00 - 6:15 PM
• Game Days: Fridays, 5:30 - 6:30 PM (September 5 - October 24) at Valle Lindo Park

9. Orca Youth Rugby 

Founded over a decade ago and home to Ventura County's only all-ages youth rugby club, Orca Youth Rugby is dedicated to promoting positivity and respect for all, while growing youth rugby players in a nurturing, safe and fun environment. We believe teamwork, communication and unity builds strength from the core. Our players will experience this on the fields with our dedicated Orca Coaches.

As part of our ongoing commitment to providing the best possible rugby experience for our members and local rugby community, we are excited to unveil that for the upcoming 2023 / 2024 season ORCA will be participating in the SCYR SoCal division. This will include teams such as Pasadena, Santa Monica, Rising Eagles, and L.A. This division will elevate the competitive level of our club and provide a platform for our skilled players to showcase their talent against other top teams in the region.

This year ORCA will be participating in the U8 (Co-ed), U10 (Co-ed), U12 (Co-ed), and U14 (Boys) categories only.

Official practices will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Pepper Tree from 6pm-7:30pm. Cost is $205-255 for the whole season depending on age group.

10. Camarillo Youth Volleyball

Ages : 7 - 15 

Sign Up: July 1st- Sept 1st, 2025. If you missed the deadline to register for the fall season, we are happy to open registration where we have space. They are still accepting registrations for the fall season in some age divisions.

12. YMCA Fall Basketball 

YMCA coed basketball leagues have evolved to develop fundamental basketball skills such as passing, shooting, dribbling, and the rules of the game, while learning teamwork, strategy, and sportsmanship.

Ages: 3-14

13. Pleasant Valley Swim Team

The Pleasant Valley Swim Team (PVST) is a year-round competitive swimming organization that has been developing outstanding community members in Camarillo and Ventura County for over 50 years. We train at both Adolfo Camarillo High School Aquatic Center (outdoor) and the environment-controlled indoor Pleasant Valley Aquatic Center - the only indoor facility in Ventura County. We are a member club of USA Swimming and the Southern California Swimming local swim committee, and are sponsored by the Pleasant Valley Recreation and Park District. PVST accepts new age group members aged 6-18 on an ongoing basis. A swim tryout is required for prospective new age group members for minimum skills assessment and group placement.

14. Miracle League 805 

Fall Ball season! This casual game-only season is all about fun and connection - no practices, just play. Don't miss out on a fantastic fall season with the Miracle League!

Fields are specifically designed for individuals with physical and cognitive challenges.  The rubberized surface of the fields makes them wheelchair accessible.  Bases and pitching mounds are painted on the surface so there are no raised obstacles as with a typical baseball field.  The dugout area is large enough to accommodate wheelchairs and other adaptive equipment.

Ages : 5-100 

Players aged five to 100 who have physical and/or cognitive challenges are eligible to play.   Our coaches and buddies work to make games adaptable to the needs of each player.  Players are teamed according to their ability rather than age, so teams may consist of youth and adult players

15. Camarillo CYBA

A competitive "recreational" basketball league for the youth of Camarillo. The league consists of boys teams for grades 3 through high school, and girls teams for grades 3 through 8. We would like to have a Girls High School league this season but will require a minimum of 28 girls to register.

Dates: Each team gets 1 hour of gym time for practice during the week. (Note: practices can be scheduled any day Monday-Friday but will be consistent once scheduled for your team). Games are played on Saturday's. The "regular" season runs 8 games and all teams qualify for the "post season" double elimination tournament.

OXNARD

1. North Oxnard AYSO Region 308 - Soccer 

Region 304 welcomes all children that meet the age requirement to play in Oxnard,  regardless of where you live. All practices will be held in Oxnard.

4. El Rio Fastpitch

This developmental season is designed for divisions 6U through 10U, focusing on building strong fundamentals, learning division rules, and giving players more game experience in a fun, positive environment.
 Here’s what you need to know:
•Open to: 6U, 8U, and 10U players
•Season Dates: August – October
•Assessment Day: Saturday, August 10
•First Game: Friday, September 6
•Location: Rio Plaza
•Games: 8–12 per team, 1–2 per week
•Cost: Approx. $220 (payment plan available; final cost may vary based on participation)
•Registration Includes: Jersey + socks
•Team Formation: Players will be drafted onto teams after assessments

AYSO Ventura - Region 39 is pleased to offer soccer programs for

3. Ventura Youth Basketball

The Ventura Youth Basketball Association (VYBA), established over 65 years ago, offers a low-cost, educational, and sportsmanship-oriented basketball league for Ventura's youth. VYBA focuses on educational skill development for youth in grades 2–8, with an emphasis on fun.

Ages: 2nd Grade - 8th Grade

Sign Up: Opens Sept 3rd - New Registration Process 

Dates: Weekend games start January 11 & 12 and run through March 8th & 9th.  Each team will play a minimum of eight games. Game schedules and gym locations will be posted on Team Sideline in December.

4. Ventura Coast Youth Baseball

Sign Up: Our annual tryouts for the New Fall Season - This is a free opportunity to have your athletes' swim abilities assessed by our experienced coaches. Evaluations for Fall -August 22nd 4:00-5:00pm , August 23rd 8:00-9:00AM, August 25th 5:15-6:15pm ,August 26th 5:15-6:15pm

• Athletes must be over the age of 5
• Please bring your own suit, towel, and goggles
• Each Tryout will take between 10 and 15 minutes.

11. Gold Coast Water Polo Club

Gold  Coast Water Polo Club has been active for more than 33 years, beginning  as a Masters Club and working its way into training our youth in this great sport.

Teaching youth water polo for over 17 years, Gold Coast Water Polo Club exists to promote activity for kids ages 6-18. Our coaching staff takes great care to  teach positive sportsmanship while learning the strategic game of water polo, encouraging the players to strive to their best potential and help them grow in a positive manner. It is a very active sport that will help keep your child moving year-round.
